# Mac Plaza licensing

Original Mac Plaza source code and documentation are licensed under the MIT
license in LICENSE. Copyright 2026 fr0nkle / Squid Productions.

This grant does not relicense third-party components, trademarks, recordings,
or resources. Preserve the individual license files and attribution notices.

- FFL.js is AGPL-3.0-only. Its adapter distribution, renderer sources and full
  license remain included in the corresponding-source archive. MIT is compatible
  with use in an AGPL-covered combination; the MIT notice does not remove the
  copyleft obligations of that renderer.
- FFL native, ninTexUtils, RIO, Three.js and Sparkle retain the licenses in
  ThirdParty and the renderer's NOTICES.txt. Modified dependency sources are
  supplied alongside the app's source.
- Discord Social SDK is a separate proprietary dependency governed by Discord's
  Social SDK Terms. The app embeds it as an integrated dependency; it is not
  relicensed under MIT. Obtain the SDK directly from Discord to build the source.
  The source archive includes acquisition instructions and the SDK's third-party
  notices, rather than redistributing the standalone SDK.
- Nintendo soundtrack recordings, console resource archives, menu models and
  textures are not covered by this license. The distributable app and source
  omit the local Nintendo recordings. Users may import their own local resources
  and music through the existing controls. Synthesized ambience remains available.

Source is supplied with each installer even while the GitHub repository is
private. Private repository visibility is an access setting; it does not change
the license rights of people who receive the licensed source. Mac Plaza is an
independent project and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Apple, Valve or Discord.
